Design Thinking for Libraries
Design Thinking for Libraries is a series of toolkits jointly developed by IDEO, Chicago Public Libraries, and Aarhaus Public Libraries, and made possible by financing from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. As the title suggests, the toolkits aim to inculcate a design-oriented approach to problem solving from the ground up to better serve patron needs.
The illustrations presented here accompanied chapters on "Programs & Services," "Brainstorming Rules," "Research Methods," and a condensed guide with recommendations and activities on how to teach design thinking in a day.
